My Favorite Tree , A Survivor (or Will to Live)

I have been amazed and fascinated by this tree. It has survived many years growing this way after being knocked down during a storm. I was inspired to paint this picture after a major snow storm that we had at our New England town. Even though there was so much damage done around the area, it was a beautiful scene that I just had to capture. This tree is such a wonderful example of the will to survive.
